Company Profile

Founded in 1983 by two individuals who at that time had over thirty-five years of experience in the recruitment industry, MSI has grown to become one of the largest privately held search practices in New England. With divisions located in West Springfield, MA, Providence, RI, and East Hartford, CT, MSI has the resources available to meet a wide variety of our client companies’ staffing needs. The average search firm in the U.S. has less than five employees; MSI is more than ten times that size.

MSI has trained specialists in the areas of Engineering/Technical, Manufacturing Operations, Accounting/Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, Sales & Marketing, Healthcare, Biomedical/Scientific, Banking/Financial Services, Insurance, Retail, Distribution, Administrative/Office Services and more. We conduct searches locally, regionally, and nationally.

MSI’s Continuous Improvement effort has produced well-defined ISO Certified search processes that yield predictable results with search completion rates that are significantly higher than national averages within our industry. Our methods are team-oriented and customer focused. With a full menu of search services, we have the capability to meet our clients’ staffing needs quickly and effectively.

Company Bio

Our Commitment to Quality

In order to solidify our commitment to Continuous Improvement, MSI achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification, effective November 15, 2002. The ISO 9000 family of standards has become an international reference for quality requirements in business to business dealings. Concerned with "quality management", this standard provides guidelines for those activities the organization engages in to enhance customer satisfaction by meeting customer and applicable regulatory requirements, and to continually improve its performance in this regard.

Contrary to popular belief, the ISO 9000 'family' is not concerned with how to make well-engineered products or supply a high-class service. Rather, it is about having a framework which enables you to meet your Customer's requirements and continually improve your systems for delivering the product or service that you provide.

Although the requirements of ISO 9000 can be seen as rather demanding, the benefits to our customers from operating under such a system far outweigh the extra work involved. It is, after all, a mark of excellence, and is not awarded lightly.
